What Your Winged Eyeliner Says About You

Makeup is such an amazing invention that makes you go from alright to wow and the most noticeable makeup is winged eyeliner. So here is what you are saying with your liner.

No Wings

Im going for a more natural look so you don't realise that I'm even wearing makeup even though it still took me like 20 minuets to do. Or I just really can't be bothered to deal with putting it on and taking it off 10 times before it looks normal.

No Flick

I want to look like i've put some effort into my look but the flick just seems a little to over the top and flirty for this look. Or my flicks never look the same so I might as well give up on the idea all together.

Applied Thinly

I want to look cute but not slutty, just enough to be noticeable. Or I just spent ages doing my eyeshadow and if I apply too much you won't be able to see it at all.

Applied Thickly

I'm going to break your heart with my sassiness so bad that you're going to want me even more. Or i've just accidentally made one eye bigger then the other so I'm going to apply more and more eyeliner until they look even again.

Glitter Liner

I'm going to follow my idol Ke$ha and brush my teeth with a bottle of jack and arrive at the party already drunk. Or i've made terrible life decisions that I only realised after I applied glitter to my eyes.

What story does your eyeliner tell? xx

7 Stages Your Hair Goes Through On a Night Out

Everybody loves a killer hairstyle on a night out, they picture that scene from Mean Girls where they are strutting through the corridor looking hot as .....  But the truth is cute hair, club music and alcohol really don't mix well together. So here are the 7 stages your hair goes through on a night out:

1.  The Fresh Do

You've mastered the hair donut (As best you can) and you're feeling confident, sassy and ready to take on the night. Also you've put in about a million pins so it will FOR SURE stay in place, right?

2. The Tipsy: "this will make it even better"

This stage usually happens before you even step foot out of the door and you've had one to many pre drinks. After you've seen all your friends hairstyles and you feel that yours just needs that little bit extra.

3. The Disaster

When your jam comes on in the club your hair is the last thing on your mind, let the head banging commence and the hair fall out. Don't even bother trying to find your pins.

4. The "this looks just as good"

Screw hair donuts anyway I don't need them, the high pony is so underrated I can own this hairstyle. Little do you know you actually look like your off to school.

5. The Excepting Your Fate

It's just all gotta come out, I'm never going to do my hair for a night out again its just such a waste of time. All I wanted to do was just look cute FOR ONCE.

6. The Drunk Bathroom Play Around

It needs some more volume, guys love the sexy just got out of bed look! Let me just scratch my head back and forth and shake it around a bit, I don't care if I look crazy JUST MAKE ME BEAUTIFUL.

7. The F#%K It

I can't even be bothered with you anymore, me and you are over hair this is it, first thing tomorrow I'm chopping you off and there NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!

How does your hair treat you on nights out? xx

Ashley Benson Inspired Make-up Tutorial

I am a huge Pretty Little Liars fan and of course Hanna Marin is my favorite. Which is why I have chosen to do a makeup tutorial on Ashley Benson. I am a little worried that it's kinda similar to my other tutorial on Kylie Jenner, but with a more natural twist.

Ashley is naturally very beautiful so she doesn't wear as much makeup and some other celebrities, but her signature rocker chic look doesn't go unnoticed on the red carpet.

Before we start I would just like to remind you that I'm not blonde so of course I won't look the same!

Prepping Your Face

Firstly I prepped my face using my normal routine of: Benefit POREfessional, Natural Collection coverup cream, Maybelline Better Skin Foundation and MAC studio fix powder. Remember that Ashley's skin is quiet pale so I have avoided using any bronzer or tanned products.

Blusher

I then highlighted my cheeks with Makeup Academy- English Rose. This mosaic blush does add a hint of colour but I mostly use it to add shine and a bit of glow to my face.

Benefits- Dandelion blush was the perfect colour for this tutorial because it's not too heavy on your face and give you a natural looking blush while defining your cheek bones.

Eyebrows
Ashley's eyebrows are very thin and pointy, so it's important to shape yours by using an eyebrow brush. Her eyebrows also have very defined arches, so to make mine more prominent I used Maybelline Sculpting Brow Mascara as it helps to hold them in place. Remembering the fact that Ashley is blond, try and avoid putting heavy amounts of the brow mascara on as it will make yours darker.

Eyeliner

Because Ashley's look is quite natural, she only has eyeliner on her bottom waterline.

Eyeshadow

Eyeshadow is the most important aspect of this makeup tutorial, this is where the rocker chic really comes to life. I used Fabulousness Palette. Start applying from the outside of your eye and work towards the inside, this makes the eyeshadow gradually lighten and gives your eye an ombre look. Apply a lighter silvery shimmer underneath your eyebrow to add a sparkly touch to your look.

Although Ashley's eye shadow is black, I thought brown would be better suited for my look. I used Urban Decay Naked Palette 2 - Busted for the darker colour.

What makes Ashley's look so unique is her messy under eye shadow. It makes her look more casual and chic. For this I used a mixture of the brown and silver shadow, which I placed just underneath my eye.

Add lots of black mascara to dramatize your eyes.

The secret to celebrities makeup is highlighter, as it distracts the eye and makes parts of your face more dominant. Apply a touch of highlighter to your cheeks and nose and blend it in all.

Finishing Touches

Finally do a quick smudge of your eyeshadow with your ring finger to make it look more smokey and add a touch of pinky lip-butter.

And there you go, your natural, rocker chic, party girl, Ashley Benson Makeup!

Tell we what you think about this tutorial and who should I do next? xx
