Wrapspiration | Rose Gold Obsession

Wrapping presents can seen like a real chore especially when you leave it all till the last minuet. But with gorgeous coloured paper, matching tags and an added something special, you'll not want anyone to open them. Rose gold has been one of my new favourites this year so I thought it's only right to bring it into christmas.

Paper: £2.00
Tags: £1.00
Snowflakes: £2.50
All from Sainsbury's

Merry Christmas xx

Turning 20 | Quarter Life Crises

I know turning 20 isn't exactly the most dreadful time, but it's a pretty big deal. 21 maybe the age you're officially an adult, but 20 is the age where you have to give up being a teenager. Not going to lie ever since i turned 19 i've been freaking out about this. There are so many articles about what you should do when you turn 20 and how you need to change.

I've called this the quarter life crises since when I'm 80 I probably won't be in the best state to be living life to the full....just saying.

So I thought i'd share a few things I want to accomplish by giving up my teenager status. Knowing myself I probably won't follow them for long but it's worth a try!

Stop Avoiding Confrontation:

I am 100% that person who will walk away from any argument with a hundred things to say in my head. There's only so much of that you can do before you brain is filled with all the things you want to say to all the people who piss you off. It's hard to do this without feeling like a bitch but being fake nice to people you really can't stand or never confronting people who cut you deep will drive you crazy....trust me.

Messy Drunk Ain't Cute

Getting so drunk that you can't even remember what you did can be funny sometimes but the older you get the more you regret. Getting drunk is fun and i'm not going sober or anything just maybe cutting back on the nights where I burst out crying after one too many.

Work For Your Dream

Being 20 is the start of your adult life and if you want to get to the top of that career ladder you have to start now. Take every opportunity you can and don't be afraid to ask help from the people around you, if they can be any benefit to you, most likely you'll be useful for them sometime too.

Don't Take Things So Seriously:

Say sorry if you know you've done something wrong, dust yourself off when you full down and learn to laugh things off once they're solved. Holding onto things will only drag you and the people around you down.

Stop Sleeping At 3am:

Being a night owl is difficult when you have jobs and university to go to early in the morning. I've always hated sleep ever since I was a kid, I like being in bed and being comfy but it's that last little eye closing that is the most difficult. My mind is at it's most creative point when a blanket of darkness is over me, maybe if I just sleep at 1am instead of 3....

Don't Let Things "Ruin" You:

Bad things happen to everyone, just most people won't talk or post about it so you may never know. Unlike when you're a teen and one bad breakup or falling out with your friends can result in weeks of crying, you can't afford to waste all that time anymore you've got dishes to wash and beds to make!

Stand By What You Like:

If you wanna stay up all night watching Disney films or kiss your cat on the lips then do it. Whatever age you are who cares what's "normal" no ones normal and if they seem like they are they're probably just boring.

Don't Give In To Pressure:

If you don't want to go on a night out don't, and lastly don't do drugs just because everyone around you is. I was going to elaborate more on it but there's no need, if you want to then that's fine and if you don't want to then that's also fine.

So here's to hopefully another 20 years of love, laughing and lots of weirdness!

Happy Birthday Me xx
